Visitation

David had been sitting on his bed facing out the window for the past hour. The view was the only thing that he enjoyed about this school. His window overlooked the river surrounded by forests and this hellhole of a school. All he wanted to do was get away. Someone knocked his door. He hesitantly got up and shuffled over to the door obviously annoyed. He threw the door open. Heather stood there with a huge smile on her face. "Surprised?" She asked, her smile turning into a smirk.
"Umm...yeah! What are you even doing here?" He replied, still in shock.
"I thought you might need a little cheering up, I hope you don't mind." She said.
"Of course I don't mind! You have no idea how happy I am to see you!" He stated, not caring to hide his excitement.
"Good. So what are we going to do to get you...well not so sad?" She questioned.
"Let's go for a walk. The school sucks, but the sights are amazing. Come on." He said.
"Sounds great." She said.
He led her out into the hallway and wrapped his arms around her. "I missed you." He stated.
"I missed you too." She said barely able to contain her happiness.
